At Skillversity, I worked on overcoming stage fear and improving my communication. Serving as Cultural Club Coordinator gave me opportunities to take responsibility. Communication, a positive attitude and the knowledge I gained continue to support me at work. My professional experience involves learning, overcoming challenges and working towards results. My advice to students is to trust the process and keep developing their skills.
Classroom activities, webinars, the debate competition and the carnival helped me develop my social skills. Welcoming Ozlem Dalga of CILT from Turkey during the International Logistics Summit was another memorable experience. These opportunities made my time at Skillversity positive and enriching. My advice to students is to participate actively, embrace opportunities and make the most of their learning.
After my B.Tech, I was unsure what to do next. Skillversity gave me confidence and opportunities to strengthen my leadership as a student captain. Organising Quality Week, celebrations and sports helped me develop people skills that now support my offshore work in Mumbai, including demanding 90-day shifts. Even without knowing Hindi initially, I learned to connect with colleagues. Participate actively, learn from experienced faculty and prepare for interviews from your first day.
